Reviews and Ratings
The rooms feel more like a home away from hotel rooms, but they are too small with just 7 tables. Despite being very cold and noisy when the light is turned on next door, they come with a private bathroom, TV, fridge, kettle, and balcony. The service is suitable for a stopover of 1-2 days with a self-service breakfast offered. The staff, although friendly, had a minor issue with room occupancy. The location is fantastic for exploring beautiful places in Cornwall, with the hotel being central to tubes and buses. The dining experience was surprisingly poor, lacking variety and quality in breakfast options. The hotel has a good range of facilities available.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative experiences. The location was fantastic, close to the underground train station and surrounded by supermarkets and eateries, making it convenient to get around. The room was spacious but had noticeable issues with cleanliness and a broken shelf. The service was friendly but lacked expertise in providing tourist information. The dining options were limited but overall decent. While there were concerns with the condition of the room, the convenient location was a highlight of my stay.
The hotel was really nice and clean, but a bit crowded with other guests. The room was more than adequate. The service was helpful and not intrusive. The location was great, close to the tube station. The dining experience was average and not worth paying extra for. The facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were plain neat and well presented, with a good standard double bed, offering what we needed and a big window for fresh air. However, the room size was better suited for a single bed rather than a double. The breakfast was disappointing with wafer-thin ham and cheese squares, and the dining area was in a little poky room.
